My semi-auto's always functioned flawlessly in cold weather using Lock-Ease...course the others do too.

I had trouble with my Benelli's in extreme cold weather. I called Benelli and they told me to use synthetic oil. I picked some up and I have never had another problem even when it's as cold as 18 below. Good luck!

I'm with Ridge on this one. I've watched hunters semi's gum up in cold weather. I have used break free in the military but even with my new AR set up I don't think I'll be running sludge through that. I don't rapid fire multiple magazines through mine anyway. If the day comes where I have to I believe I'll go with the Sam Elliot approach because there will be plenty of them lying around.

These are my remedies for here in Michigan's sub-freezing climate. My semi-auto rifles have plenty of experience with Ballistol lubing the action. The others I mention below are intended for my two handguns.
Ballistol
G96 Synthetic Oil
Slip 2000 EWL

Synthetic oil.
I use Eezox myself, no sticking in -9 degrees while sea duck hunting.
