Shooting slogs through same hole at 50 yards
 

has anybody ever seen a gun that would shoot slugs through the same hole at 50 yards?

I do remember checking my brand new slug gun for zero. Used a bullseye target at 25 yards. I punched a hole so perfectly through the ten ring, I actually thought I had missed the entire target at first.

My first hunt with that slug gun and the front sight fell off.

Been my experience the gun is usually way more accurate than the shooter is. It takes a lot of practice before a shooter is good enough to start tweaking reloads.

You got a keeper there. I have heard some good old friends who still use slug guns that claim sub-moa groups with their newer rifled shotguns and sabots slugs. I never doubted them.

When I had much younger eyes I bought a Mossburg that had a 28 inch modified barrel and a 24 inch sighted slug barrel for a patrol gun before they were provided t us. At 50 yards I would have holes touching each other but not through the same hole. I thought that was pretty good for a smoth bore slug/buckshot barrel.

This is 3 shots at 100.... At fifty, if I did my part it would be awful close to the same hole. I can try one of these days and see what I can do. Mossberg 695

The remington accutip. Theres another box in the picture there but those were with another gun.
