You do'nt need TTSX for deer, to much.

No there is no need for barnes bullets on whitetail. However I do use a 338 fed and prefer the 160 triple shock, just because of ballistics, but the 200 horns kill deer just as dead but with a little more felt recoil and a little more arch

I too am in the Core-loc camp. The 30-30 locs are great as are the .243,s.

Another vote for corelokts. Used them for most of my hunting prior to reloading. If I don't get time to reload I go back to them.

Not sure where the guy was coming from. Yep, Barnes makes fine bullets. This design retains practcally 100% of its weight, mushrooms great and is usually found only in "premium" factory hunting ammo. In fact, I use their sabot made for 50 cal muzzle loaders. Works superb. But Good Lord only knows how many white tails have been killed with various calibers of the Remington Corelokt bullet ... from 25 cal. to 45 cal. Your 30.06 Spr. groupiog great with Rem. Express Core Lokt, you are good to go.
