Has any one had a savage in 22 Mag? I see them At Wal Mart for $200.00. what model it it?

Not the one they have at Wal-Mart but have 4 savage 24 in 22 mag / 20ga. All shoot good my main squirrel gun. The 22 magnum is one of my favorit rounds.don't know about the savage bolt action bought a ruger american in the spring played $257 for it. The best shooting 22 magnum I have out of 8 22 magnum rifles I have 4 savage 24, a westernfield 840, marlin 25 mm, winchester 255, and a ruger american.I think the model they have at Wal-Mart is a savage model 93 f the standard synthic stock base model.

I have a Savage Model 93 .22 Magnum I believe?It is the wood stock Rifle and it has the open sight and drilled mounts for a scope that I plan on adding soon,Cost was around $225.00 + Tax.The Hawke Scopes seem to be pretty good and they have several for Rim Fire Calibers!

Is the Savage Rifle Your looking at a Synthetic Stock or Wood?

It was the Tupper ware stock model 93, $208.00 out the door plus 25 dollar rebate from Savage.
