Bushnell Banner scopes?

I am looking at getting a 6-18x50 to put atop my .243 for varmits.

Are these a quality scope for the money?

SuperMag,
Twenty years ago I would say yes. Their quality is not what was back years ago. In the lower priced scopes I would seriously consider the Weaver. Another option is a used Burris or Leupold.

baush&lomb produces three lines of scopes,boush&lomb-bushnell-banner.banner being the bottom of the line scope.even though its there bottom line its still produced by boush&lomb but your mony might be better spent if you save a little longer and go for something higher up there line.the elite 3200&4200 series scopes are top quality and still at a reasonable price.just my 2 cents.

I have owned 3x9x50. I have used it on a .308 and later on a .338mag i did not have a single problem! And they are very cheap$$wise.Good luck!
