Remington Versa Max. WoW!

Just got one a short while back and haven't got to shoot it much yet. But when I did..Wow! All of the rumors I'd heard about it being soft shooting were true! Compared to my previous inertia-driven Stoeger & Benelli's the difference in felt recoil was massive! Can't wait to shoot it some more!

Congratulations !

Take a look at the Duck Unlimited magazine January / February 2014 issue.

It has a review of a number of the new autoloaders in it.

You may find it helpful in making YOUR decision !!!

Well it's clear you didn't read my post. My decision was already made. Nice commercial plug though. :happy0001:

Big,

That's what the Congratulations was for - I hope you have great success with it !

The reference to that issue of DU magazine was intended for "others" who might be looking at new autoloaders.

So yes, I did read your post.

"commercial plug" - I got no skin in their game ???

Congratulations once again !!! :confused0024:

Your gun is featured in there as well.

In fact, it was the first one they wrote up.

Shoot'em up my friend !!! :happy0001:

I heard that the Versamax is an 80-90%+ parts interchangeable "clone" of the Benelli M4. Having shot them side by side, are you saying that the "10-20%" of non-compatible parts are what makes the Remington version of the Benelli M4 that much less recoiling? Is it heavier or is it something internal that makes the difference?

I ALOMST dumped my "M4 fund" on the zombie green Versamax last year. ALMOST. Not that I'm into the zombie BS, but that green smoke was sexy.

The M4 is Benelli's only gas-op gun and yes, VERY similar to the Versa Max, soft shooting and all. The Benelli I had was not the M4 and was inertia driven.
