RE: Best .22 semi-auto rifle?
thanks for the responses, i think i will go with the ruger 10/22 since ive owned a couple of them before, never had a problem with a 10/22. i was just wondering about the remington. yeah i have noticed remington' s quality has gone down in the past few years. i bought a 700 ml, biggest piece of crap ive ever owned. well anyway does anyone know if ruger makes a 10/22 with a synthetic stock? i dont want to have to buy a stock separate. i may go to bass pro shops this weekend. do these rugers really cost around $180? i thought they were cheaper than that.

They most certainly make one with a synthetic stock. It can also be had with a stainless barrel, a target version with a heavy bbl, thumbhole stock, etc, etc...
How about a .22 conversion for the Glock 9mm you already own?[]

I like Rugers but when it comes to a semi auo 22, I' d go with the Marlin Model 60. I' ve had one for many years and have probably put 20,000 rounds through it and have never had a problem. Put a good scope on it and you have a very accurate and reliable rifle. A great deal for the price.
