Default Which of three

So back in april me in some friends was crossing a road in a Tstorm. A truck come through the little town with 35mph speed limit goin 60 tboned us. So im fixin to get my settlement
One thing on my to do list is a new handgun.
I sold my glock 45 while back so ant got one right now
Im thinkin one of the three for a carry gun/ occasional target gun

Glock 45 either full size or sub compact
Iv carried both can conceal the full size with my big frame

A 1911 iv always wanted one never have

An hk45 iv wanted one for awhile

Im leaning toward glock iv owned 6 over the last 7 years both 45s and 9s in both full and sub compact iv always loved em and shoot them great

Id like the hk i love the feel of it but idk bout the price and same thing for the 1911 But i could buy two glocks for the price of the hk or 1911
What u all think what would u go with

For me, it would be the 1911. Tested by time and in combat all across the world. One of the best designs John Browning ever came up with.

I put in 27 years on the street. 20 of them with a Glock. It served me well and saved my butt more than once.
If I knew I was going to have to defend myself with a firearm and was limited to a handgun it would be a Glock, no question about it.

That's my two cents worth on pistols.

Buy the Kimber. Straight of the box shoots well and functions as a 1911 should without spending all that extra money.

i would go glock. For nothing else other than its reliable. That's what your carry gun should be... reliable. And i am no glock fan.

I like all 3 but have carried Glocks on and off duty the most. I'm curious why you're only considering a full size Glock or the sub compact instead of a compact model. I've carried and shot all 3 and they work well. Currently I carry a Glock 30SF in .45. It's a compact model and shoots well.

I dont have a prob with a compact. Id prob go with a compact or sub except a buddy of mine gave me a shoulder holster. Hes in the nat guard and i guess his unit got new gear and they have alot of holsters to the guardsman. Its a military dhould holster my guess made to go over a bullet proof vest cause it fits my big butt first shoulder holster iv had since the first one i had ten years ago that fit me right. It will fit a full size glock 45 fine but anything smaller and it would move around in the holster. Which i found odd since the m9s normally the issue sidearm Im guessing a m9 would flop around in it. Maybe why the replaced em
