Browning BL22 inherited when I was 5. First gun I ever bought with my own money was a savage .410 over and under when I was 12......I detassled a lot of corn for than gun.

Savage .410 single-shot. It hangs above my recliner in my living today.

I got it for my 10th birthday; when my dad brought it to me, I was eating my birthday cake. I put my fork down and we went out to shoot RIGHT THEN. I mean that VERY instant.

I don't know if I ever ate any more cake that year, but I could not have cared less.
