Join the NRA for "FREE"

Below is a link to join the NRA basically for Free. Normally $35/yr....this costs $25/yr and you get a $25 gift card from Bass Pro. That is a NO BRAINER. If you are a hunter, a gun owner, or support our 2nd amendment right at all....and are NOT a member of the NRA, now is the time to join. They are the only group out there fighting for our rights.

Whether you agree with everything they do or say, it doesn't matter. They are our ONLY ally that has any pull, so we HAVE to support them. Its gonna be a tough battle with these folks that think guns are the real problem in our society. If you don't join the NRA when its basically Free...don't complain later. I'm told this also works for renewals.

Please pass this on...we need all the help we can get.

I beleive the offer is for a 1 year subscription that DOES cost $35.00 , but is offset by the $25.00 gift card to Bass Pro, thus ending up with a real out of pocket cost of $10.00.

That's the way I read it. Still a great deal and a good way and good time to help the NRA with the fight going on right now.

I just re-joined recently, but with this great deal I may add another year to my membership to take advantage of the deal and help the NRA at the same time.

Nope, if you look at the rates, they reduced it to $25 for this offer.

Right....it is only $25 for one year on this promo. Get this out folks...we need all the help we can get. There's tons of gun owners in America, and only a fraction of them are NRA members which is a shame.

So it is!!!

Great deal and easy way to help the cause, even if you are already a memebr, sign up for another year FOR FREE!

LIFE TIME MEMBER here. I think all people that are gun owners should join the NRA.

Lifetime member here too. :D

Agree all gun owners and hunters at a minimum should be members. Its almost hypocritical to not be. Pass this deal along to your friends, family and co-workers.

Also... if anyone is interested in a Lifetime Membership, pm me. I might be able to get you a great deal.

Endowment Member now, but considering upgrading with another contribution. The NRA is under attack, and if it loses - we lose.

Though my membership/subscription does not expire until Sept 2013, I just re-upped my membership for an extra year. No reason whatsoever not to. Get another year for nothing out of pocket except the time you invest to shop at Bass Pro for $25.00 worth of sportsman's gear. Win / Win / Win !!!

bump this up! we gotta keep fighting...

My wife is now joining - as a Life Member.

How does signing up for free actually help them though.
What they are doing costs money so our subscription costs help them do their jobs.

Kind of wondered the same thing. Not sure, but maybe they are not paying full face value for the cards? Or, maybe they figure getting more people involved now will benefit them in the future since some new members will probably stick around and renew.

WV Hunter 01-22-2013 06:03 AM

Its not actually free...I'm sure BPS is donating the cards. The more members they have, the more potential donations and volunteer help they can get - and the more potential new members (referrals). Its all about supporting the only group who is supporting us. The more numbers we have on our side the better.

Before this mess, the NRA membership was a tiny fraction of actual gun owner numbers. They've gained a ton of new members in the past month, but at the end of the day...most gun owners still won't part with a puny amount of money each year to be a member, which in my opinion is pathetic. They could cut out mcdonalds 5 times a year and pay their dues.

My thought is...if you aren't a member, don't complain about a thing that goes on.

Agreed. I don't agree with every position the NRA takes, but I joined last month.
