how too atract deer to my property
 

yes i live in ohio i live in the country i have 12 acres mostly wooded i hunt whitetail and rarely see any on my property what would be some good ways to atract deer too my property and keep em coming back any ideas thx

12 flat acres....trees?
12 acre food plot would do it. soil sample..prolly be a few $k in seeds...a lil back breaking work. and by this time next year could be a haven for em.
water...water is a guarantee unless the neighbors have the nile running through their property.
peanuts..boy howdy they fight over the peanuts here. they are wild but we eat em too and they are ummm mmm good.
mineral lick...if its a rare sight to see em deer, this will be hard...ya have to create a lick and then show em where it is. this can be hard if ya aint seeing any deer, but if ya can pull it off they will keep coming back.
sometimes some good ground cover will keep deer...they need a place to hide where cars and people arnt coming through...if they feel safe, they'll take up house there, but deer usually stay by the kitchen....so if they eat at the neighbors, maybe they bed at your place cause its safe.(per say lol)
