Tikka T3 Accuracy Issue
#12
Before moving on to more complicated gun related fixes I would make absolutely certain it was not a scope or scope mount issue. A Tikka should shoot way better than that but i suppose a lemon is possible with any manufacturer. Are you shooting it from a gun vise or with your hands from a benchrest?
Had a concern with my Sako A7.
Turned out to be a broken mount.
Back to shooting sub MOA with manufactured ammo.

Tikka T3
Thanks for asking. I did float the barrel all the way to the action and changed the aluminum lug out with a stainless steel lug I bought online. With either Remington Core-Lokts or Hornady SST Superformance the T3 will hold 3 shot groups under and inch pretty easily. I also torqued the action screws to 55 in. lbs. This rifle is a delight to carry and shoot. The SST drops feral hogs like crazy. I'm really pleased with this rifle now.
