One piece dovetail mounts would be best, then two piece dovetail mounts. Ive had good luck with leupold and burris mounts.

My Browning A Bolt, 7mag, wears a one piece Redfield base and rings.

I don't know if they are the best but I sure like them on my Winchester M70 EW and TC Omega. Had a set on a Browning X-Bolt and they worked very well on it as well.

I prefer Warne, EGW's, Millet, DMZ (In that order) and have a few pair of Lupy's...in my opinion 1 piece bases are best, but i have several pair of 2 piece bases that have never failed...the key it to buy quality and instal them correctly.
