Default H&R Ultra Slug Youth 20 gauge

Does anybody have a H&R Ultra Slug youth model 20 gauge (model # SB1-925), it has a 22" barrel.

My questions are:

This model still retains a Heavy/ bull barrel?

How does the 22" barrel affect, if any, accuracy out to 100 yards?

What slugs are getting the best results, accuracy wise and performance on game (deer)?

Overall thoughts on this model...

Thanks for the help!

I have the Ultra Deluxe 20ga. (SB1-928), the model you looking at also has the heavy barrel it has the 22" barrel versus a 24" barrel that is found on the model I have. I think you will be fine, I used the Hornady SST 2-3/4 with very good results, I now use Remington Accu-Tips 3" with slightly better results

I set one up for my wife with a red dot sight. Shoots lightfields good.

Thanks, looking at getting one of them and wanted to know more about it.

The furthest shot will be 100 yards from a treestand.

I also have the Savage 220f more accurate then my H&R both using the same ammo, trigger on the Savage is much better, you may want to consider the Savage 220f
