If you had a choice between the Browning A-bolt, Sako 75, and Tikka Whitetail (same as Tikka Master), in either 270 or 7mm rem mag, which one would you choose?

I've always like Brownings, Ruger's and Sako's. I honestly know nothing about Tikka's. Either caliber you mentioned is great for whitetails. If you plan on using it on larger game I would go with the 7mm Rem.Ruger Redhawk

Tikka is just an affordable version of Sako.

If on a budget go with the A-Bolt or Tikka if you can afford the Sako go for it, it is far superior to the A-Bolt or Tikka.

If money is no object buy the Sako 75, it probably has the best action in the business right now. If money is an object take the Tikka, there usually cheaper than the other two. Overall, the medium would be the Browning A-Bolt. I would be proud to own any of the three listed. As for the caliber choice, check the ballistic tables and the cost of ammo. My 2 cents.

Doesn't really matter. They're all great. If I were you, I'd pick each gun up...see which feels best...and go from there.

Hey Duke13. I'll be using it for whitetail deer hunting only. I primarily hunt the thickets but have access to clearcuts and powerlines.
