I'm selling my slightly used Model 700 in .308 caliber. I bought about 4 years ago when I had a hunt club in PA. Wouldn't you know we lost the land before I got a chance to use it. I since moved to MD, a non rifle state and have been hanging onto this ever since but its time for new toys so this must go. It has about 150 rounds thru it at the range. It has never seen the field or bad weather. It was a real tack driver when mounted with a 3x9 scope. Barrel rifling is mint and was always cleaned after use. There are very minor range type scuff marks on butt of stock by cheek piece. Where the front scope bases were, there is an rust like outline of the base from being on for so long I gather. Also, the checkered round base of bolt has some browning too. I guess after last cleaning moisture was in the grooves and it was stored for so long it fouled. Going to try and get that out later. Anyway, it is a terrific shape and will give you no troubles. If after you receive you do not like it, I will gladly split costs of return shipping of it to me for a refund. Looking for $350 for it, plus $25 fed ex shipping to an FFL. Any questions, please ask
