Nice rifle! I've got a Rem 700 BDL in 30-06 & Win Mod 70 in .270 and both are super nice rifles!

.270 is a very good choice. Stay away from the cheap Remingtons. You will want to replace the scope if it is a package deal.

LOL. I have both, both are very good. I personally like my remingtons better. Agree, stay away from the cheapo's.
