Finally got my Browning BLR Need suggestions
I just picked up my new blr lightweight w/pistol grip in 300 WSM. I love it so far. Doesn't seem to have too much of a kick. I bought some federal fusion 180 gr. the lever seemed a little tight to lock closed but that might wear in. I need some suggestions on a sling ( I'm thinking browning horsehair) some mounts ( I'm possibly looking at the browning integrated mount with built in rings) and a scope. Maybe a Nikon 3-9 bdc or a leupold. Any pros or cons with a setup like this? Any suggestions on anything else. Thank you

My only suggestion is to keep the scope sized and proportionate to the rifle. In this case, lightweight and without a huge bell. There are many choices from Leupy, Sightron, Bushnell, Burris, etc. that would be fine. The "Browning" mount (if it's the one I'm thinking of) is actually made for Browning by Talley. It's a very good mount. I have no knowledge regarding the sling.
