My 30 caliber line up......?
 

I started taking shots at the range yesterday to get ready for deer season. I have a few 30 cal rifles in my battery. So many to choose from and yet I will usually opt for the 06 for our Texas deer.

Here' s the lineup......any guess' s?

*hint* the 300 Savage isnt there but it' s on my " need" list ;)

There isnt nothing like the smell of 120grs of H-5010...AA

wow 5 belted mags....the first one that isnt a belted mag is a 3006 to its right a 308 to its right a 30-30....i dont know about all them belted mags though.....am i close on the 3 i guessed?

o.k. , i edited it because i wrote the norma mag as a .300 , not a .308 , but , i still stand by my line up which is from right to left :D:D:D:D

Only one I own is the .30-06

Well the closest would be Mr. Charlie Brown with a close second to Whelen36( you have the 300 Win and the 308 Norma reversed). Congrats to all!
What can I say other than I am a 30 cal junky among others:).

The far left cartridge is actually a wildcat I had built a little over 10 years ago, it' s a 30-378 Wby with a improved 40 degree shoulder.

i thought the .308 norma mag , and the .358 norma mag were longer than the .300 win. ooops [&:][&:], looks like i was wrong , darn. [:-];) that' s one heck of a collection you' ve got there double a ,
my 30' s are as follow.
.303 savage
.30/30 win.

.300 rem ultra mag

hope you like em' , BTW- what make of rifle is that norma mag in ???

I like these games:).

I must admit that I cheated on the .308 Norma, had to go to a reloading manual to see which was longer.

Whelen36, my 308 Norma is built on a sporterized 1903-A3 Springfield and wears an old Redfield 6x18. Dont know when it was made into that configuration, probably in the mid 60' s.

sounds like a great hunting rig you' ve got there , i' ve always had an interest in those norma mags mainly for the .358 norma , you see , i' ve got a great love or apreciation for the .358 caliber . in those i' ve got a .35 remington , .35 whelen , and a .350 rem. mag. . how do you like your norma , and how much better or worse is it than your others. :D:D:D:D
