Savage Striker 516 .243 caliber questions
 

[SIZE="3"][/SIZEMy husband picked up a Savage Striker 516 243 cal. I am trying to find out some information on it. Is this an "Accutrigger"? Also, I am trying to find a mount for this (for his birthday) and am having a hard time finding the correct mounts for this gun. A lot of places say they think their mounts will work, but I don't want to get something that "might" work.

Looking at the Weaver mount base site (http://www.weaveroptics.com/mountcharts/default.aspx) for the 516 SA (short action) which is what the .243 is, you need a #61 (rear) and #46 (front) for your bases. Rings with a handgun aren't too critical. I would probably go with the low or medium height rings. Hope this helps.

No, it does not have the "Accutrigger", but the one on it should be fully adjustable.
