American Arms?
 

Does this company still exist? My father gave me an over/under made by American Arms Inc., and I was looking for info on the company. This gun was bought brand new within the last 5 or 6 years. I cannot find a website, email, or anything stating whether or not this company is still around. I' m beginning to wonder if they got bought out, or just folded. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

American Arms was mainly an Importer and was purchased by Tristar Ltd.Sporting Arms.

American Arms sold me a very good 28 Ga O/U....I loved it...it was about $500 I bought two more .410 O/U and returned them because they didn' t shoot to point of aim.....actually patterned a full foot off at 25 yards.

That 28 Ga was a very fine gun. Shot many pheasants and quail with it.

It' s my understanding that Tri-Star is owned by Marty Fajen....if she inherited her father' s love of quality and Value, the name will represent a fine gun.

I' m cheering for her. I did a bunch of business with Fajen stocks and was never disappointed. Carry on Marty.

I have a American Arms SilverII 12 gauge O/U, its actually my second one. After I sold the first one I had, a few years later (cuz i missed it) I bought another one. I believe they were made in Spain by Diarm silver.

Is there any way for me to tell which model I have? I do have the original box, but not any paperwork that came with it. I love the gun, it shoots great. Only thing I don' t care for is the lack of interchangable chokes on the model I have.

The silver I models had fixed chokes and extractors, the Silver II models had interchangable chokes and ejectors.
