yup. I'm going to try the 50 gr. hornady v-max with some varget powder.

I completely disagree.....the 1 in 12" will handle 60s nicely....

I'd suggest that some of the SX from Hornady and blitz from Sierra and possibly other thin jacketed bullets may come apart on you.....but you'll have no problem with the 55-60 grain bullets.

May I suggest the 55 grain ballistic tips....

That's what Les Johnson of Predator Quest used for years.

Of course, they were one of his sponsors.

He also is usings Hornady V-max bullets (and so do I).
