I shoot turkeys just fine out to 35 yds with my Mossberg 500, with standard full choke and 3" Winchester #5 or #6 Turkey loads.

The super full choke may work fine for you. You just have to pattern the gun and see what it does. If you get good patterns at the distance you plan to shoot, you don't need anything tighter.

You can have a choke that's too tight. When a turkey shows up at less than 20 yds, they are easy to miss with some of the chokes that are out there. I have not gone to a tighter choke than standard full simply because I don't shoot further than 30-35 yds.
