CZ 452 rimfire

Anybody own one of the new CZ 452's?
I'm thinking about purchasing the switch barrle model that comes with a 22LR AND a 17HMR/

Would like to hear from anyone that has CZ rimfire experience.
Thanks

I have a CZ .22 and they are likely the best you can get for the money--very accurate and very well made--the Europeans are really big on .22's and as a result, the European gunmakers give them a lot of attention---I've owned their base model and one of the .22's with the full length Manlicher stock [ wish I still had it ]. I've also owned a CZ in 30-06 and .22 Hornet--Hornet was average, but the 30-06 was an absolute tack driver, still kicking myself for letting that one go---at fifty yards, my 452 will continuosly put five in a cluster in the center of the target----
I wouldn't think twice, it would be a real good choice ---- John

CZ's older 452 and new 455/interchangeable barrels are excellent guns.Actually pretty much all their guns are great.I have their 527.Go here-

As much as I love my CZ's, I do have two small issues---their front sight hoods are a little strange and the rear sight on the .22's is large and clunky and often in the way of a good scope--if the rear sight leaf is pushed straight down hard, it'll slide rearward right out of the base, it'll pop right back in if you ever decide to sell the gun. I remove the front sight hood, grind of most of that angle that originally faces the rear, saving just an eigth of an inch or so across the top, touch up the edge with a little perma blue, then reinstall backwards--looks much better---

here's a few shots to illustrate what I was suggesting--

I have the 452 American and can say that CZ does it right when it comes to rimfires. Accurate right out of the box. Not accurate enough for me though so I bedded it and worked the trigger. Now it will print dime-sized groups at 50 yards with good ammo.

Don't know if I can cover it with a dime, but mine will chew one ragged hole in the center of the target consistantly--they are shooters !!
