I wont be doing it this year but next year when I get to PA I will be using my DanWesson 445 supermag..

NJ doesn' t allow handgun hunting[:@], If they did I don' t think I would hunt with anything else.

Gun' s not nearly as important as where you hit them, especially with a pistol. Keep the range close so you can hit them right. If you want to take long shots, get a rifle.

Handgun hunting is loads of fun
I use a T/C Contender with a 16" 45/70 Govt. barrel with 300 grain hollow points.
I may be slightly overgunned but you never know when a rhinocermoose is gonna
stroll by....

I got my start deer hunting with a handgun. I started with .44mag, and now hunt with my FA .454 Casull. I just have to make sure I send in my application this year,my wife kind of forgot to put a check in with it last year and I had to stay home.[] you will have a good time Rusty enjoy....

The Ruger 480 round is suppose to be a good hunting cartridge. I' ve never fired one.I use either a Redhawk in 44 Mag or a SRH in 454 Casull.I haven' t shot a deer with a handgun yet.Hopefully this year will break the ice.
