870 Express Deer Gun Scope ?
 

I am thinking about a scope with for my Remington 12 Gauge - 870 Express Deer Gun. What are some pro' s and con' s if any? Also any scope suggestions! Thanks!!!!!:)

I just put a Bushnell cantilever slug scope on my BPS.
I like the 6 inch eye relief.

I would try looking in to a Red-Dot like a Leopuld,Aim-point or Bushnell some thing with a 3-4 MOA. I have one on a 44 mag Super Black Hawk I can hit deer @ around 100 yds.

Leupold VX-1 shotgun scope, 1-4X heavy duplex reticle. works awesome on deer.


jack, a 44 mag at 100 yards?!?!?!? not enough energy to drop a deer at that range with that round.

I have had burris' s, to Simmons. From now on only leupold. Just changed mine out last year on my sluggun to 2-7X33 VXII Shotgun scope.

Thanks fellas' but what is the main difference between the VXII and the Shotgun scope by Leupold?????

They say different construction to accomodate the hard recoil, but I don' t believe that. Main difference is the paralax set to 75 yards I believe instead of 150yards.

I have taken three deer with this setup, the longest being 186 yds. This is the best shooting shotgun that I have ever had the pleasure to shoot.
