Shooting Rest
 
just went out target shooting to try out my new hyskore rest Was shooting my 30.06 and was comfortable, it absorbed recoil, great purchase.http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/upfi...iley/barmy.gif

Glad you like it. It is good to see this rest is not totally solid against the butt of the rifle. I have said this before on other posts, but people are cracking the stocks of their long guns using a rest that has little to no give.

You may already know this. When you are shooting without a rest, have a majority of the weight on the front foot, lean into the shot and do not lock the knees. You will have less felt recoil and muzzle rise using this method.

I'm using a Caldwell Leadsled and it works very nicely....may try another one if its better/easier to use! ;)

Try clinking on the underlined word "rest" in the opriginal mesage. You are correct, if you clink on the http:// you get a dancing banana..:s12:
