Franachi Renassaince
last weekend, I went on quail hunt. Got to try several O/U. The typicals Citoris, red label, beretta, etc. But one stood out to me. Franachi. It was dead light, pointed well, seemed like top quality.
Anyone have one? Any experience? |
I don't have one, but have shot one and yep they are a nice shotgun...especially for the price! Basically a cheaper Benelli...
|
Thanks for the update. Still can't decide. You got the resaleof a Citori field or lightning, but would have to buy used or could spend 1100-1200 for a Franchi. And they have a 200 dollar rebate right now.
|
The one I shot was an auto, not sure what model. I've never saw an O/U Franchi, can't find info on their website either, just the pic on the homepage...
|
I like the "brand", but not a fan of their butt stock !
Imagine trying to cut that down to shorten the LOP. A buddy of mine owns one of their SxS - nice gun for the money ! |
Thanks guys, I am still trying to figure out how to pronounce.
|
The spelling is Franchi and it's pronounced fran-key.

Now that's a turkey killer !!!
See the new style butt stock; looks like the first cynergy's. http://www.franchiusa.com/ http://www.browning.com/products/cat...field-firearms Too "funky" for me; so I have the classic stock on my cynergy. http://www.browning.com/products/cat...field-firearms I'm only 5'6" so I almost always get my stocks shortened and a new pachmayr decelerator pad put on. You'd need a jig saw for those others. LOL ! |
