got my permit and have a few carry questions

Ok I got my permit finally :hail::happy0001:

I went to gander for a shoulder holster, guess no one makes one in the 6'5 490 pound range :confused0024:. Non would fit me right, the guy at the desk said one looked find, but givem the belt loop on the holster sat at my side 6 inchs above my belt I DOUBT IT fit me right. So I went with a nice uncle mike size 5 belt holster for my glock 21. Between the glock 21 being huge, and the holster alittle long IT ANT being concealed, though m y big body build and my coat does a good job of it.

I have a few questions
First is there any places out side of the normal, IE police station, airport, fed building, school where you can not carry, thinking like the post office or say a bar?
Second

IN indiana and well florida since I spend alot of time there, do I need to say officer I am carrying a firearm should I be stopped somewhere or pulled over when driving?

Third does anyone know aplace that does custom shoulder holsters prefer the non leather type

one more question, since I have an indiana permit which does not restrict weather I have to CC or OC my gun can I do either when I go to florida or will I need to conceal it?

For a holster check out Crossbreed or Comp-Tac, imo the two best holders for carrying a full sized pistol concealed. That being said, you can't carry at the Post Office, or any other Federal building, but I'm not sure what other places you might not be able to. Like the laws on carrying in places that serve alcohol vary form state to state. I'm not a lawyer, and this isn't legal advice, so make sure you check the laws for yourself.

6'5" 490lbs?? Why bother carrying, Can't imagine you feel too threatened anywhere:s1:

I would look into documented laws and not opinions from the net. Granted, some guys have a lot of knowledge but sorting them out is way to risky considering the consequences, jail!!

Check out this website. If you search around enough it will answer most if not all of your cc questions.
