Browning X-bolt-accuracy

I am wanting some input from X-bolt owners to let me know how accurate there rifles are right away out of the box.

My Father owns an X-Bolt hunter .243, and I have an X-Bolt Hunter 7mm08. They were shooting consistent groups from day one. By consistent, I mean groupings within a 2" diameter at 100 yards.

We don't shoot much more than that while hunting so I can't comment beyond that. We also were not using a shooting bench, just a small sandbag and the hood of truck. So, not the most accurate shooting test either, but we each used our guns for the first time this year and we got our bucks.

Mine was a short shot of 45 yards, but my Father made a 120 yard shot for his kill.

Of the two I've messed with (one mine and the other a friends) both were MOA.

My abolt shoots MOA and in .300win.mag. I think that's pretty good, and I haven't really even tuned it much.

My BAR is amazing, 1/2 MOA

I like browning, have heard good things about the xbolt.

I think you would be happy with the accuracy of the X-Bolt. Mine shoots several 130 and 140 grain loads under an inch at 100 yards. This is from a good bench with bags in the front and back and giving the barrel time to cool between shots.

No problem getting 1 inch groups or better.
