Ruger Hawkeye in .257 Roberts, standard vs. ultra light?

If you were to purhase a new Ruger Hawkeye in .257 Roberts, would it be the standard or ultra light? I noticed that Ruger has taken the ultra light our of there lineup on their web page. Wonder why? They quit making them?

You're right!
Looks like they removed the "International" model from their line as well. The "International" model being the full-length stocked Mannlicher styled rifle.
Too bad, cuz I had considered both those guns as a purchase in the future, now I'll have to shop used.

Models get added and dropped each yr. If there's little demand, why keep them in production. Could most likely find them still. I'd opt for the standard over the ultra light myself.

I like the 22" barrel of the standard model.
