Some times a Gun choose You instead and You deal with what You have and what your intentions are in either Hunting or Target Practicing with it? ;)

There are better scopes out there,it just depends on what your planning on doing with it,the .308 is a great caliber! I have a Savage 111 GCNS Bolt-action 7mm-08 and it shots great and I really like the Accu-trigger too,...I have a Leupold 3X9X40mm matte black scope mounted on it.The Leupold scope is good and clear and works great in the early mornings/late evenings in low-light conditions when out hunting!
