Aftermarket barrels? Which one to pick???

Well, let me float another option for this endeavor.
One of the toughest places to shoot is in the desert.
Unpredictable winds, mirage, and other various challenges for long range shooting are all inherent, along with extreme temperatures and lack of humidity.
I know of two locations that can be used for shooting to a mile there.
One is at 1100 feet elevation, the other is at 5450 feet.
The first is an hour west of Phoenix, the second is 45 minutes west of Prescott, AZ.
Both require a 4 wheel drive to get to, and nobody will bother anyone out there at either place on a weekend.
A neutral location is a great idea, and subject to verification, I'll put AZ on the list.
Of course, there's always Ben Avery, just north of Phoenix too, with a 1000 yard KD range. Gotta book it a month in advance or so.
Just don't try to do this in July/August in Phoenix...it's STOOPID hot!
