Not to throw any cold water on the fire, but, I for one will never buy any gun I can't wrap my paws around first. I guess I don't have enough faith in the honesty of online dealers to send them any money based only on their word.
Buy from a local dealer, and you will ALWAYS know what you are getting. That peace of mind is worth the extra few bucks it may or may not cost. |

In my experience there is a lot of variance in fit and finish for firearms. I also would never purchase a gun over the internet unless I could examine it very closely. Yearly on I did this and got lucky but now I know better.
Seems to me like $50 is hardly worth it. My truck takes $90 in the tank these days so I look at it like a half tank of gas. Tom |
