2 of the same rifle, different calibers?

Anyone out there have 2 of the same rifle but in different calibers?

If so feel free to share which rifle model/calibers.

Just thinking, if you already have 1 rifle you really like, and want/need a new caliber, why not get the same rifle but in a new caliber? or do you think spice it up and try something new?

Sure do. There's 13 or 14 10/22's here of which all are .22lr except one in .17M2. There's also 7 Ruger #1's. One in .22-250, one in .7x57, one in .30-06, one in .45-70, one in .405 and two in .300 H&H. The .30-06 one is likely to become rechambered to .22lr.

Sure. I have two Remington 700 Mountain rifles. One in 270 cal and one in 260 cal. Bought the 260 for my son to start hunting ,now he is not interested in hunting so i guess I have two wonderful shooting guns for my collection.

I've I've got a couple of safes of pre 64 M70's....only 2 of the same cal. Use em all in hunting or paper punching. Let's just say I have a thing for em!LOL

If I could lay my hands on a pre-Berretta Sako L591 in 257 WBY in good condition to go with my L691 in 300 WBY, I would.

My stepfather had two BLRs, one in 243 and one in 308. When he died I took the 243 and BIL got the 308.

How do like the .260? I'm enjoying a lighter recoiling rifle & have been shooting a Rem. 700 in .243 But I want to step up in caliber. So I'm looking @ the 6.5mm & the 7mm.
What is the difference in recoil betwween the .270 & .260 ??
