bigtim...ya aint gonna get any bacon or fat off an edible wild hog...they dont sit in a pen all day in its own feces waitin on someone to bring it food...these hogs do up ta 20 miles a day searching fer food. we dont eat em over 225....but 175 is ideal...

FWIW the 22-250 with 55 grain ballistic tips at 1200 yards generates about 1/2 the energy of a .22 LR at the muzzle

For those that think this represents a hog rifle.....be my guest.....go get them and have a ball.....

well...dont get me lying about whats what at 1200, but we wax hogs with it all day long here...4200 fps from the tube aint bad though.
