T/C Venture

Anybody own one? If so how do you like it? Pros/cons of the gun? I haven't hunted with a centerfire in a couple years but I kind of want to get a new one to hunt with. If I get one I'd want it in .308.

Thanks,

Well Rory, I don't own one. But I watched a piece on this on the "Gun Nuts" show on the Outdoor Channel. Now I don't know if T/C 'tricked out' the rifle before they sent it to them for testing but the groups the rifle shot were pretty impressive. From this test, it would be a rifle that I would be looking at if I were in the market for one.

I think the Venture is "one of the" best values in the market right now.

I don't own one either, but if I was to buy a value priced rifle right now, that would be the rifle I would get.

Dont own one myself, but sighted in one in a 270 for a friend of mine. It is a very impressive rifle to say the least. 5 shot group measured 5/8 inch at a 100 yards on sand bags shooting Winchester 130gr power points.

My best friend has one in .308. I shot it a few times and I was impressed with it as far as the feel of it and accuracy. He's very happy with it. From what I can tell, it would be hard to find a better rifle at that price.

I was thinking about getting a T/C Venture in a .204 Ruger for Varmint Hunting in Camo?I have been looking at the following 2 Rifles also? A CZ-USA in the 527 Varmint .204 and the Ruger Brand in the .204 both with the wood stock!

The .308 is a good caliber with great accuracy and knock-down power for deer Hunting!I ended up getting a new Savage 111 GCNS in a 7mm-08 for Deer Hunting!
