Default Remington 700 synthetic stocks

Gentleman

I see you can find synthetic stocks very reasonably priced on the inter-net.
Thanks for your help.

Yes, it can be done. I was thinking about trying this:

Mine was cut down by my gunsmith "a little" to shorted the LOP and to place a Pachmayr decelerator pad on it.

Remington 700 SPS DM in .243 Win, it's my predator gun.

Are you set on synthetic? Boyds' sells some nice stocks. My brother in law just put a new stock on one of his rifles and it was really nice looking. http://www.boydsgunstocks.com/Classi...n-700-s/42.htm
