Chuck7, you seem to have learned the art of hunting through the "school of hard knocks". I always hated that dang school :sign0016:

The gun would've kicked really hard. Even if the slug passes through the choke tube, it can bulge the barrel. You might get away with it once or twice, but it's not a habit to get into.

If a slug was fired through that turkey choke I think it would have turned that shotgun into a pipe bomb.........
