Decisions Decisions - Advice on a Varmit/Range Gun

Sold a couple I didn't use and now I'm trying to replace a void. I have a gap in my gun safe between my .17HMR and a my 30.06.

I had planned on a 22-250 varmit/Range gun, but as there is no praire dog fields on the east coast just don't know how much I would use a 10lb+ gun in the field. I'm about to change my mind now and go with an ultra light .243 instead so I can have a long range range gun + a varmit gun with 55g loads.

Gun has to be stainless and preferably not a cheap plastic stock.

Some of the choices I had narrowed it down to are:

Remington 700 VLSS - 22.250
Savage 12 BTCSS - 22.250
or
Weatherby Mark V Ultra Lightweight - .243
Browning A Bolt TI - .243

Probably would be a Varmit (Coyote/Fox) and a Long Distance 200-300 yard range gun.

I just can't decide....any advice?

Out of those choices, I'd opt for the Browning A Bolt TI in .243.

I have a;

.17 HMR
.204
.243
7MM RM
.338 WM

Still missing IMO;
.270
.300 WM

Just a thought--- I have a Browning A-bolt in .204 and I am blown away by the precision and accuracy of this gun and round. I have made shots with this rifle on coyote and ground hogs I would not have tried with any other rifle I own. The .204 is extremely fast and hits very hard, too small for deer, but excellent on coyotes or anything that size or smaller. This is rapidly becoming my favorite gun--the A-bolt in .243 would be a very good choice also--------------John

I forgot to add, the 60 degree bolt throw on the A-bolt is also a big plus---even more room between your hand and the rear of the scope when working the action, and it's fast. The Browning design for the swing out magazine is very easy to load or unload safely---another strong point-------John

Couple of shots to show you what I'm talking about----with a good Bushnell Trophy on top----

Ive been using the Remington VSFII 22-250 and I really like it. Very Accurate and its not a cheap crappy synthetic stock. That was a picture of 7 shots after bore sighting the scope. It hits in the Red 100% of the time now

get that abolt ti, it's built on a true short action unlike the weatherby mkV...
