Help me decide!
I' m looking at two guns that a guy has here locally for sale and i' m going to buy one of them but can' t decide on which one to buy. They are both brand new, one is a Remington 700 Classic 25.06 that was produced in 1990 and the other a Remington 700 Sendero 25.06. The price of both guns are pretty much the same around $600 for the classic and $630 for the sendero. I know everyone has their own opinion and i would really like some feedback. I would love to have them both but that would probably mean getting a divorce and i like being married so thats out of the question. If you were in my shoes which one would you buy? Thanks!

RE: Help me decide!
I would pick the Sendero. I own a Sendero and love it. The price of $630 seem' s high to me? I would look on gun broker for a average price.

Sendero...In my opinion, it' s just a better all around weapon.
Good luck! |
RE: Help me decide!
The Sendero would be my choice of the two, however, the price does seem high. There is a shop out here selling NIB Win mod 70 lt sporters in .25-06 for $399.

RE: Help me decide!
I own the Sendero in 25-06 as well, very very very accurate! I want to say i paid $610.00 for mine. Like the others have said , it is heavy but if your gonna be standhunting it doesnt really matter. The classic is a beautiful rifle though.
If it were me i would probally get the classice just because there harder to find. Well around here they are. Dumb question, but if it was produced in 90' how is it new? You mean it' s still in the box or what?........anyway you will be pleased with either one. |
RE: Help me decide!
I would agree with the others if it is just for shooting. If you are in to collecting the classics then I would grab it because you may not find another. I thought the classic 25-06 had a 24 inch barrel.

RE: Help me decide!
You should buy which ever you like!!!! This is somthing personal and you choose.
As for collector value a Remington classic is just another used gun. Unless you live for 100 years or more the value will go down not up on most guns, there are exceptions but the Remington Classic has not proven to be one of them. So, do not let resale value get in your way pick what you like best. |
RE: Help me decide!
Price too high!!
