16ga shot gun.
Need advice on the 16ga I have 3 single shots n was looking in getting the browning BPS n was wondering if 16 is good investment.

O the 16 ga.!! I love them to death and hate the ammo prices!! If you have your heart set on one, by all means get it. But expect to pay $4-5 per box than 12 ga. Are you set on the BPS? Because a Remington 870 Wingmaster in 16 ga. Is a sweet shooter!!

20ga ammo is cheaper and easier to get..... get the 20
|
I have a 20 gauge that is from a family member. If I were buying a shotgun I would buy one that has reasonable priced ammunition. So, buy a 20 gauge and get more bang for your buck. Besides the 20 guage can do anything the 16 gauge can.

Do they still make the Wingmaster in 16ga |
The 16ga is a great gun and if you want one go for it man there fun. I've got 2 ones a H&R pardner singleshot the other ones a savage 77 pump love em both. Ammo ain't that over priced at basspro it's 1 dollar higher than 12ga shells but if you get one 16 you'll want another.

I love my 16! But, like everyone else is saying, be prepared to pay a little more to shoot it. Also, don't expect to find shot at every lil shop you go to.
