had to return it to the nearest warrenty center, 3 hour round trip.
would love to put on a better scope, to get the full potential out of the rifle. when i get so extra cash saved up after x-mass

I have never seen that happen before with any rifle. I'm sure it does from time to time though. Just think if it had been marked "300 wsm" and been chambered for the 270 wsm. You may have had a bad day. Glad everything worked out.
