Browning A5 - estimate

I'm gonna look at "what I'm told" is a Belgium made A5 Sweet 16 in "great shape".

Anyone care to take a stab at the price tag on something like this???

I can't log into any "gun sites" at work to research this and would love some ballpark ideas... Thanks in advance for your time:party0005:

I've got one I purchased new in 1966. I've been offered $1000 but did not sell.

Find the age, just about any A-5 90% goes for 500 to 1K.

Blue book value of guns has them really low for some reason.

80% have cracked stock or forearm. If its mint, its worth 1K IMO. Well worn, below 500.

I used to deal in them all the time. I don't know why, but they don't fetch as much as they used too. They were hot in 2000. I had 5-8 lined up.

Condition is in the eye of the beholder, an "as new" gun might fetch $1100 and an 85% gun is worth $600 max (my opinion). As was mentioned, there doesn't seem to as much demand for them as there was 10 years ago.

YMMV
