Got drawn for a hunt

This hunt is in west kentucky and you can only use muzzleloader or shotgun I have a cva optima and a mossberg 500 12 gauge with a 24" accuchoke barrell on it. My question is which gun to use and can I shoot a slug out of the shotgun. It is a turkey style shotgun with old style camo on it.

I'd rather Optima, but you can run rifled slugs through your smoothbore barrel--and federal tru-balls work there.

That Accu choke is not good for slugs. Don't qoute me on this, but it may not even be safe. That is a tight choke, I've got it on my turkey gun too, also a mossberg 500, I wouldnt shoot slugs through it.
