lellier & bellot ammo

i see that the 8mm mauser is sold by this comapny. it also is fairly cheap through cabela' s. $12.99.
do they make good hunting ammo for the 8mm mauser? are they made alittle more hot than the american standards?
i also did loo at the norma ammo but they are pretty expensive.

Quilly- I' ve had good results with their 7.62x54R ammo in my Nagants. Don' t know about the 8mm.
Here' s a link to their site for velocity info but it' s in meters per sec instead of feet : http://www.sellier-bellot.cz/rifle.htm

Quilly,

The Sellier and Bellot ammo in 8x57 mauser is more powerfull than American ammo. It is still behind the Norma but much cheaper. I have had some experiance with the 196gr FMJ it shot very well. The 196gr SPCE did not group as well and did not extract well.
