Cant assemble remington 870 need help
 
My dad just bought me a shot gun and i cant assemble it, he cant either, when i went to assemble it, i grabbed the pump on accident and it slid out along with the slide block. but now when i go to put it back togather it gets stuck when sliding the pump back into the gun, please help me.

The 'tube vid pry shows you but you reach into the gun and press a couple locks to the side. Check your manual.....870s are about as simple as they come.

Ok i got it togather but there is nothing sitting ontop of the slide block, and if i turn the gun upside down when the pump is forword the slide block falls out

Ouch.......:D put your bolt on the block, get it back in the receiver and put your bbl on :D

the breech bolt is in the back of the action i think, how do i get out out from that?

Remington 870 problem please help
 
On my new shot gun the slide block is infront of the breech bolt, i can get the slide block and the pump out i just can not get the breech bolt, is there anyway to take the breech bolt out that is simple?

Pull your trigger out.

Im afraid, because i dont know how to put it back togather. and if i do it wrong, its broke.

no it easy. download a manual from Rem. if you don't have one. all you need to do is get a brass punch or nylon dowel and tap out the 2 trigger assembly retaining pins that are in the receiver Just above the trigger one in front and one behind. then with your finger in the trigger guard pull the assembly up and out. Now you should have access to the bolt from underneath

Pulling the trigger assembly is part of normal cleaning and maintenance. You need to learn. It's very simple.
