Which rings and mounts do I need
I just bought another rem 700. I was curious as to what rings and bases would be good. On my other rifle I have the millet angle lock rings and the two piece bases. Somebody told me to check out the warn rings and bases.. Thanks in advance..

I have the talley one piece alloys and like em but don't trust em for hard recoiling rifles.. I have em on varmit rigs. |
I like my Dednutz mounts, the simpler the better.

Warne are good rings and bases.
http://www.warnescopemounts.com/home.html What caliber 700 are you looking to scope ? Recommend "weaver style" bases and rings. I like Burris Zee Rings among many other reasons, I like the protective inserts that prevent marring of the scope. http://www.burrisoptics.com/sigrings.html |
Game Reaper (dednutz).

I was skeptical at first but after using them on a Browning X Bolt, I'm very happy with them. Warne's and Talley LW's are excellent choices as well. |
I've always had luck with Redfield and Millet. I'd buy a good mount and keep away from See Thru's. For a more inexpensive base and rings look at Weaver's

+2 to Game Reaper. (Dednutz) Cannot go wrong with a 1 piece CNC machined scope mounting rig.
