Lookin for a medalist or Ti?

B&C stock? On a nice old gun like that? Do they even make an after market sock for those? Why dont you get some true oil and refinish the factory stock? I would also try to find an old redfield or lyman scope for it. For some reason, a modern matte finish scope doesnt look good to me, on an older rifle.

The 721 was an economy style gun with little collectors value. Also anything that fits a 700 long action will usually fit a 721. They are easily found for less than $500.

i just want to lighten it up some, ill keep the stock and such.heck im going to use it,i figure a medalist standard is affordable and stable.ive heard good things about the bushnell 3200 mildot scope.anybuddy else used them or know of them?

If your looking for lightweight you should look into the B&C Alaskan Ti model. Stockys stocks has them and the medalist on sale for $208. Dont know about the bushnell, its weaver or nikon for me.

That a Ti, Alaskan Ti lightweight. They put them on the factory rem 700 Alaskan Ti edition. Sometimes you can find a take off pretty cheap like this one...
