Default Changing Rem 700 triggers

I have a 700 SPS that has the pre-x mark trigger adjusted to 2.5 pounds.

Will I be able to put that trigger on a 700 CDL that has an X-Mark trigger? In other words, swap them.

I plan on later selling the SPS, and want to put the better trigger on the firearm I will keep.

I think you can just adjust your X-Mark trigger to 2.5 pounds and have two rifles with the same trigger pull.

Will probably sell the SPS, and it costs about $50-$60 to get a trigger adjusted by a gunsmith in my area -- I will not mess with adjusting one.

Am thinking best and least costly alternative is to swap them.
